Adding Footer Links

Hi Guys,

I want to add internal links to my footer without using the EZ pages functionality.

I found the great guide which shows you how to add the Contact Us page link and I have followed those instructions. How can I work out what to add to the tpl_footer file so that I can show my other internal links, privacy, terms etc?

Why the objection to using EZPages internal links? This is the easiest (and best) way to do this...

There's no real substance to the objection, beyond that I am not currently using EZ pages and would prefer to keep it that way. I know that I can simply amend the tpl_footer file and so would rather do that.

I am of course open to any explanation as to why EZ pages is the best way. I thought it was more of 'another way'.

It was pretty straightforward adding the code for the Contact Us element. Is there no way to find out how to add the other parts?

Hi,

I would just 'hard code' the footer as I dont think that it would change too often.

time and less hassle is the big factor of my starting statement.

im sure to be proven wrong.... but hey im sure you have many other tasks :)

Navigate to the page(s) that you want to hard-code link in the footer.

Look at the URL in the browser address bar. The link is shown, and in almost all cases will be something like:

index.php?main_page=contact_us

Just copy and paste these links into the footer code.
