It is charging a penny more for sales tax

Subtotal was $17.40
It was two 8.70 items i had in the shopping cart the tax on one 8.70 item would be 0.435 so they are rounding it up to .44 which is normal to do, but if you buy 2 of them it should input the correct tax which would come out to .87 cents
0.435 x 2 is .87 cents not the .88 the cart charges
Anyone have any idea why it does this
In the admin, where you set up currencies, there is a setting for the number of decimal places. Usually this is set to 2, but if you set it to 3 it will now round after the third digit, which will give the correct tax. Unfortunately, this setting will also show 3 digits after the decimal on your visible prices as well.
That's the way Zen Cart is at the moment. I hope in future we can have two settings there -- one for calculations and one for display.
