help question Canada Post Weight UOM issue

    Hi Guys,

New here, I've setup a Zen Cart site for a buddy of mine, installed the CP module but one thing I have an issue with is the weight UOM. We set the weight in the Module (for each product) as KG but on the item it displays in LBS (but using the value for KG, with no conversion on it)

We'd prefer to display in KG, I've tried changing the english.php file for the template I am using to use KG instead of LBS but that did not work.

I'm guessing this is something in the CP module?

    Thanks

No, it has nothing to do with the CP module. The "UOM", as you call it, which you specify in the product's weight/dimensions settings, is only used for generating shipping quotes.

If you want to change the displayed weight unit "text" shown in your store, you'll have to change that in your language files. The weight unit is display-only text. The cart supports only one weight-unit, applied to all products universally: you decide which unit to use, and set the display text accordingly.

    I've done that, no change.

btw UOM means Unit of Measure, i.e. lbs or kg etc....

I even went to Developers Tool kit and searched for lbs and I cannot find a thing. Search for KG and it finds
