Get rid of default products and start from scratch

I installed the zencart and opted to include all of the default products, categories that came with it.

I did this just to see how the store looks with examples and stuff. Now I want to clear everything out and start from scratch.

Is there a one step press of doing this? Or do I need to delete each category/products one by one?

Safest way is to use the delete functions in your Admin Console, as you indicate. It doesn't take that long, and is the more reliable method of removing data.

If you are a top-notch whizz with MySQL, you could remove them with a SQL patch, but I'd not recommend this route to relative novices.

Thanks for your response to this. i figured this was the most logical and safe way to do it.

It only took me a few minutes, whew!
