Tax Exemption - PST

Hello,
I am a Canadian Retailer in Ontario and as such I charge the 8% PST based on the shipping location. I have a customer with a business in Ontario and they require PST Exemption. I have all my taxes setup and working great based on shipping address.

Any ideas on how I can make the account PST Exempt but still charge GST while still based on shipping address? I can add them to an 8% discount group but then it still records that I charged 8% and I have to submit it to the Government of Ontario as such. Using that method I will lose the PST to submission and 8% of my sale/profit so that is not really an option.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have the same question/problem.

I Need a solution for customers that are tax exempt for PST. For our American friends , we in Canada have the equivalent of a Federal sales tax and a State sales tax. All Canadian citizens pay the federal sales tax, and only pay the state tax to businesses in the same state as the customer. If you're out of state in relation to the business, you don't pay the state tax. Some clients have tax exempt status for the state tax regardless of what state they are in and we need a way to have this automatically adjusted.

If anyone is abel to provide us with assitance on this we would appreciate it greatly.
