Website Colour Scheme Change?

I have 4 questions about the template I'm using (trublu):

1: Is their an easier way to change the background images on all my website boxes i.e... search box, top navigation, Information ect without having to find each one individually and edit within the relevant stlye sheet (something Im still learning to do??

2: How can I remove a whole navigation bar (as their two in the trublu template?

3: How can I remove the image that shows up next to the title of each and every box?

4: How can I change the link effect on my website? at the moment when you go to click a link it goes red...how would i change this to a different or to go bold for instance?

Oh right sorry!!...erm Im not sure how to do this as Im designing the site locally on my computer??

All those things can be done by editing your stylesheet, but most of us haven't used that template.

I'd suggest you install the Firefox browser and the Web Developer plugin, which will let you view your) or anyone else's) site and stylesheet and will show you where in the stylesheet those various things are controlled.
