Trouble connecting w/ db?

I was trying to add a contribution when I somehow lost everything. I am getting this error:

Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.

My site is www.gamewheel.net.

I have looked at both of my config files to make sure the db information was correct, and it all seems to be. Is there a way to fix this short of reinstalling everything?

What contribution were you installing?

It was the "How Did You Hear about Us" contribution. I am sure it was something I did though. I followed instructions, but it wasn't working. I went into phpmyadmin and clicked on my db then clicked import and tried to import the table from the contribution into the database. Since then I have not ben able to get in.

Ouch. Any chance you or your host have a backup of the DB? I overwrote one of mine once, and my host was able (and willing) to restore it for me.

It's a relatively new db, but i do have a backup. I actually did restore it, but he problem was not fixed.
