Only charge tax to people from the same state

I need to set up the tax to only charge sales tax to the people that are in the same state as our store. We do not want to charge sales tax to those outside of our state.

Unfortunately it didn't. It really only tells me how to set up the tax rate for my state. I need it to only charge the customer sales tax if they are in the same state I am in not charge every customer my state tax rate.

For Instance:
Someone from California would not pay sales tax

Someone from Alabama would pay my 9% tax rate
