    Default Category missing after adding new product

    HI: I wasn't sure what would be proper name of this problem, but this is what is going on:

    I am making shop for my friend and when I add product to some of subcategories, that category simply won't show up anymore.up But, product added CAN be visible if you click on it from index page and NEW PRODUCTS FOR MONTH section.

    In that case, link that I can see is : http://kobazz.com/shop/index.php?mai...products_id=84
    and category where it should be is : http://kobazz.com/shop/index.php?mai...ex&cPath=35_41

    Does any expert have idea how to solve this?

    What is happening is you have 1 product in the Category and it is trying to go to the product _info page by skipping the Listing ...

    However there appears to be a problem getting there ...

    You might get the Debug add-on from the Free Software Add Ons and see if it helps ...

    Or switch to Classic Template to rule out if this is a template issue ... oh ... umm ... hmmm ... you are not using templates and overrides so that cannot be tested ...

    debug is the only tool you need now . i see blank page , when i go to some other category . that might be result from some bad code editing .

    Thank you for your effort. I've installed debug addon and after runing problematic page (http://kobazz.com/shop/index.php?mai...ex&cPath=34_32 ) i am getting dozen files in cache folder.

    Message from those gfiles is next:
    [15-Mar-2009 14:23:11] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/k/o/b/kobazz/html/shop/includes/languages/english.php:1401) in /home/content/k/o/b/kobazz/html/shop/includes/init_includes/init_templates.php on line 78

    Can someone tell me is there a solution?

    Looks like you have space(s) or blank line(s) after the closing php ?> at the end of the file ... php does not like that ...

    I've tired both files, but there were no space.thank you for your help, but it seems that things are actually worse then I described since it is not possible to register as new customer.

    is there a person who can fix this for money?

    Idea or Suggestion Re: Category missing after adding new product

    Hi there,
    the real problem, and as far as I can tell, no one has said anything yet, is that english.php in the languages directory has more than a few spaces after the closing ?>.

    I did a clean install without anything other than the basic template and the categories did not show up. The debug tool helped me fine it quickly. Since this is a basic file shipped with Zen Cart, I'm surprised more people haven't had this issue. Weird.

    Check the english.php file and see if there are spaces at the end. If so, removing them should solve your problem.

    Default Category missing when it only has one product in it

    I am working on a friends site. And she is having this same issue. If she enters only one product in a category, then you get a blank page on her site, but if you enter in more than one product it's fine.

    However there appears to be a problem getting there ..." and this appears to be what is happening. How do you fix this?

    Here is her site - www.my2redheadsbowtique.com and click on her gift certificates. If I put in another product then it works but with just one product you will see what is happening.

    Did you try the Debug tool from the Free Software Add Ons to see the specific error that you are getting on this?
