Paypal Orders do not show as orders!

I am using v 1.38. I followed all the steps to set up both PayPal and ZenCart for using Website Payments Standard and I cannot figure out what is wrong. The orders go through to paypal, and I am recieving them there, however- they do not show up in zencart admin anywhere! I have gone throught he forums and the Wiki on it and tried everything but am at a total loss. I am also new to zencart, which doesnt help my cause either. The only difference between my site and the uncustomized is I am using the template "darkness" which says it is for the previous version, but i figured this wouldnt matter.

Please help- this has really gotten me in a pickle.

That's because something's preventing PayPal's server from talking to your store properly.
1. If you're hosted on GoDaddy, go here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/announ....php?f=28&a=10
2. If that doesn't help, follow the troubleshooting section inside this document: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/PayPal
3. You'll also find that Express Checkout is more reliable in that it doesn't wait for PayPal's server to talk to your server in order to activate the paid order. You should still attempt to fix the communication issue though.

"cURL Proxy Status" >>> and I needed to set it to false because i host through godaddy! (Admin>> COnfig>> My stor)
