Why are my category headings not showing up for third tier products?

This is a Zen Cart deployment which has been customized to the extent that I'm having difficulty finding what code pulls in what code (I inherited it that way...)

But I'm down to my last action item- please help if you can so I can end this torment ! :)

My category headings show up nicely here:

The "PRODUCTS / Used Engines" heading is formatted correctly and everything's fine. However, if I go one level deeper, the headings only show up when there are no products to display:

This is how it looks when there are products to display:
http://www.attarco.com/index.php?mai...products_id=65

As you can see, the placeholder with borders is in place, but the category names aren't being pulled in. Any ideas?

Your third example is of a product info page. Do you have more than one product in that category? Zencart goes to the product info page by default if there is only one product in the category. You can change that in Admin.

I'm afraid I can't find out where this option lives/what it's called...is it a configuration setting? If you have a sec, I could use some hand-holding. Thanks again.
