top nav bar different between ie and ff

the top navigational bar looks the way i want it in firefox (white lettering on top of brown bar) but for some reason in internet explorer it looks like the wordage is coming up through the
brown bar giving it a orange looking color instead of the white that its supposed to be.
can anybody help me?

It looks different in IE, because you've got an IE stylesheet. Adjust your colors (and sizes) in it for IE.
