    Default Stretched in IE8...???

    My cart has worked perfectly for years and now when you view it in IE8 it is stretched to the right.... real bad....

    Does not do this with any other browser to my knowledge....

    Any ideas to what it might be ??

    First thing you need to do is rename one of your stylesheets. Zencart loads all files with the .css extension that are in the active template's CSS folder, and yours may be fighting each other. Rename stylesheet_original.css to stylesheet.org and see if that helps.

    Yes, it does show you the template name in Admin - Tools - Template Selection, but you can also see it by viewing the souirce code of one of your pages. You're using the 'Classic' template. My guess would be that's the only one you have installed now, so your stylesheets would be in includes/templates/classic/css.

    I have two installed by the looks of it....

    Default All Classic Template
    English Classic Template

    So not sure which one is working or maybe both are....????

    My freind who is a website developer said that this should work...(his knowledge with zen is limited)

    But there is a way around it to force IE8 to interpret the page code as it it is actually IE7. In the head section of the pages you have to insert:

    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

    Would this work with Zen ??

    No idea. As I suggested before, you need to remove or rename one of the stylesheets in your includes/templates/classic/css folder.
