In rebuilding my shop, I consolidated many categories into a lesser number, deleting the surplus categories and re-numbering the remaining category_ids to suit.

However, upon adding a new category, the new category_id is continuing after the old arrangement. (ie highest id was 73, now 51, but new category_id is 74)

Is there any way to reset the category_id to follow after the new arrangement (ie 52 rather than 74).
