    Default Copying a category

Is it possible to duplicate a category?

I only see how to copy a product.

    Cheers

Do you want a new category with LINKED products, or a new category with DUPLICATED products?

I want to copy a sub category (I should have clarified this earlier) and place it in another category, as a sub category

    Hope that makes sense!

Yes, but there is a distinct difference between LINKED products and DUPLICATED products... Which do you want?

In your Admin Panel, create your new sub-category. It will therefore be an empty category.

Then navigate to a PRODUCT in the CATEGORY that you want to copy.

Then, when you have a list of the PRODUCTS in that CATEGORY, choose any product and click on the "C" (copy) button on the right hand side.

When you reach the screen that enables you to copy that product, scroll down a bit and at the bottom right, you'll see a button called:-

    "Multiple Categories Link Manager"

Click it, and from then on it should be pretty obvious what to do... (scroll down till you see: Global Category Link Changes and Master Category ID Reset)

This will LINK the products from your existing category (sub-category) to that NEW category you just created.

    Hello,

I would like to copy (duplicate) an entire category (with all its products), is that even possible ?
