How do I download MP3 files without launching the player? Without using ZC

hello, i hope i dont go off-topic, but its related. i found this website google'n "how to set up music download in website".

i am developing my cousin's website and he is launching his first album free of charge. i would like to allow people to download the song simply by clicking a link, i have seen this in some websites but when i do this myself it just opens the song in a new window with quicktime player (i saw a reply above that said this might happen).
i have visited other sites with the same browser and it downloads by a single click... how can i do that? anyways i have zen-cart available on my hosting, i guess i could try it out if a simple click technique doesnt work
