Question about the checkout process

Hello,

I have a mobile cell phone website and would like to set it up where when someone goes to their shopping cart, and clicks "go to checkout" it will take them to another page where it will offer accessories. Is there a way to do this? I cannot seem to figure out way.

Might be better to add the accessories to your product pages. Search the Free Software Add Ons above for 'cross sell'.

Might just be me, but, as a customer, I don't think I'd like to click 'Checkout' and be sent to yet another page where you're trying to sell me something else.

I've made some simple additions to some checkout pages that simply show an image, bit of text and a link to put some last moment sale into the cart by hard coding it into the pages. It wasn't really effective.

But I agree with stevesh, once you get someone into the checkout stream, you shouldn't distract them or go to a non-checkout page.
