I just set up my first cart. when i view the base template over the web images are not showing up, are distorted. in addition in the admin site I have the x in a box as if images are not showing up. any ideas why this would be happening?

Reupload your images using Binary mode instead of ascii. Then make sure your FTP prgram is in auto mode.
