Problems with checkout

Hi all,

My site is live and I was wondering why sales have slowed down and I just received a message from one of my clients regarding a purchase that they were making.

After testing they are getting a blank page when trying to complete then order. I ntried the same procedure and had the same problem with not being able to complete the order.

Thanks for your quick reply regarding the problem I had, below is what the error was:

[27-May-2009 07:16:27] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '*' in /home/content/o/u/t/outdoorking/html/includes/modules/order_total/ot_gv.php on line 220

The problem came from what I was reading regarding a known bug from DrByte's post here:

I will read more carefully his post in the future because I was thinking it was a bug and I was going to prevent any problems in the future not create one for myself.

What I did was take out what you suggested and then replaced it with what you originally suggest to replace and now it is working again as I have just received an order from the site.

I have only copied and pasted what you typed in your post so I can't see why it could be wrong as I am sure that I followed you directions to the letter ie line number and text that should be replaced otherwise when I put the text back it would not work.
