Sales by the month - Daily and Monthly reports

In x-cart, you can see a daily running total of sales (total number of customers who bought and in dollars).

There doesn't seem to be that in Zencart.

We don't want to have to constantly manually add up how much in sales were made daily and weekly and monthly. One cart we're about to go live on easily does 500+ sales a month ... that's a lot to add up!

Am I missing something obvious or is there an addon for reports?
This is a VERY important feature for my client, as he has 5 online stores (2 of which we still need to move from x-cart).

I wonder why I am not getting search results lately in the addons section. I think I've lost my knack for holding my tongue just right. LOL
