Simple (From Google) Analytics Install

I would like to install the Google Analytics on my website.
Looking through the support and postings in the forum, I can shee that tere is a third part solution for this. I am, however, new – very new- to working with SQL and web pages.
I would like to copy the code to my home page only, and then go from there to work with the database at a later date.
This is going to sound impossibly naïve, but, where is he main page that I would install this to?

Not sure what you're asking here but I think you want to know where to install the Google Analytics script on your site?

You can either install it in main_page.php or in the tpl_footer.php file...
