Heavy itmes split on shipping calcualtions

Most of our items are 200 pounds or more. When it appears at the shipping selection area it shows as (6 x 45.8lbs) instead of (1 x 250lbs). How can this be corrected?

Go to /admin/shipping&packaging and set the 'maximum package weight you will ship' to something larger than your heaviest item.
