Easy Populate - how do I do attributes?

Howdy all,

I installed easy populate a few times because I was not sure if any of the installations "took". Now it's listed 3 times under configuration. I have not found easy populate to be easy yet .

If it is in fact, installed, how to do I actually do an upload (of attributes) from excel? I have truly read and not understood (due to reading it over and over) how in the world to do it.

I think you need the Advanced version of Easy populate to do attributes.

If you do then go to to TOOLS-EASYPOPULATE in zencart and click on Attributes in the data files column then save the resulting red file from the bottom window to your desktop and open in Excel.

EP Advanced handles attributes better. EP 1.2.5.4 will only do option names and values, and not give you any associations you may have made to products, with these names and values.

Oy vay I may just need to do this manually.... I'm not too gung ho on EP. I saw a module named Zen Cart Manager but don't want to spend $150 right now.
