Vertical Middle align of main wrapper

Does anybody know if there is a way to align the whole Zen cart site so that it centers both vertically and horizontally. Our site aligns left to right with no problem but we would also like it to center from top to bottom. This can be done on ordinary sites by inserting special instructions on a css style for the container div. We have inserted the same code on the main wrapper in the style sheet for Zen Cart but it failed to work. Has anyone come across a solution to this?
