Removing Category Image and Link

Hello, I wanted to remove the image and link from the top of each product and I have found the setting in the Admin/Configuration/Product info/Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Name and Image Status but there is no setting to remove the link just the image? here is the choices it gives.

0= Category Name and Image always shows
1= Category Name only
2= Category Name and Image when not blank

Am I missing something? Thanks!

haredo, its not the icon I cant get rid of using the admin its the link that goes under the icon. If I use option 1 it gets rid of the icon but the link is still there. Thanks!

Check your code to see if fixing the open <a> calls can't help.

This is a showing of the errors on the main page. Do something like this for your product pages as well. Maybe you'll get the results you're looking for when the code's "tightened up."

dbltoe, this isn't for that website its for a test site Im building on my PC. Is there an easy way to do this threw the admin?

Why would you want to completely remove categories? It looks like you want to use zencart for something other than an online shop.

Try changing the setting just above "Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Name and Image Status" (Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Name and Image Status) to 0.

I don't think I'm explaining this correctly. When it shows my product I'm selling just above it, it shows the category and link under it. I don't want that to be there. I can get rid of the image threw admin but the link is my problem?
