Can I add a general information page for each catagory?

Hi, I'm new to Zen Cart, and have a general question about it's configurability prior to deciding to use it. We are creating a Mother and Baby health info site which will sell products for specific ailments/health areas. We want people to read the health information article first with a specific photo header and then if they wish, navigate to products we suggest below the article. Our product catagories will be listed as ailments first, for example, "Cradle cap"" and we'll have an article on that subject with links etc. We also want people entering the site to look for a specific product to navigate directly to it by means of a product catagory listing. We don't expect to have more than 5 to 8 products for each ailment area.

Really looking forward to getting into configuring our site with Zen Cart.

That's pretty much the kind of thing that EZ pages were designed for. You can place your article on the EZ page, and add links to specific products at the bottom, and have a sidebox with the subjects of the articles, as well as the standard Categories sidebox for return customers.

You could also use the Category descriptions which are can be displayed at the top to give more information...
