manufacturers sidebox - Is there a mod

Is there a mod to add a sidebox that functions the same way or similar to the way the manufacturers side does?

The manufactures side box is already in use but we need to set up another for a different purpose.

I've been looking but haven't come across anything yet.

Maybe this will do, this will show whatever master category you choose with their sub-cats in a drop drown:

It depends on what info you want to display. The Manufacturers box pulls certain info from the database.

You can use the Blank Sidebox mod and copy the <form> part of the Manufacturers code to that for your dropdown, but you would need to recode the part where the stuff is pulled from the database, Or (as I did) manually enter the dropdown options in the blank_sidebox_defines file.

Thank you both for responding. I checked out both possibilities and stevesh, your idea is best for what is needed in this instance. It worked perfectly.
