Hi, is it possible to add radio buttons to a given product?
I sell t-shirts, so I want to add radio buttons (or a drop down list) to enable customers to select size and colour.
Any ideas?

Hope this helps.
Teach them to shop and they will shop today;
Teach them to Zen and they will OWN a shop tomorrow!
Excellent. Exactly what I was after... Thank-you
Don't suppose you know of any way to "batch add" to all existing products?
Hi, Totally Zenned ...
The tutorial is good, but I have been hassliing with it all afternoon with two little radio buttons for a black version and a red version of the product. They both show up as selected every time.
Substituting a dropdown doesn't work either. The dropdown turns into two already selected radio buttons on the page and I can't deselect them.
Checkboxes work fine, just like they should.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
... Doug
BTW ... I didn't mean to just address my question to only one person. Anybody who has a solution, and knows how to make radio buttons work without all being selected is just fine by me.

Doug,
Attributes, Force to Select
Bye the way, are you from Iowa, in high school I had a classmate with the same name. Just curiousThe beauty of this procedure: Is a warning box appears at the top of the page stating they have not selected a attribute color you offer to the customer.
Example of what it should look like in the Option Value Manager:
(Add the following Option Values below)
1. I used color as an example: Use the option name value you would like:
2. The 0, 10, 20 are sort orders below
Please Select Color 0
Red 10
Black 20
Now in Attribute Controller for the product with this Option Name Value:
1. Add, Please Select Color to product, sort order 0
2. Associate the flag properties to Please Select Color
3. Under Attribute Flags: the colored boxes
4. Yellow box, Used for Display purpose only: Click Yes
5. Tan box, Default Attribute to be marked selected: Click Yes
6. Add, the following red, black also with sort orders, and leave the flag properties to default (do not touch)

Actually, I'm from Texas. My Grandfather was not the eldest son in a Scottish family that owned a mountain of Talc on Lake Erie, so he set out to Waco when it was a little frontier town on the Brazos, surrounded by Comanches, one of which shot my Grandmother with an arrow on her way in the stagecoach from Little Rock, Arkansas to marry him. She was tough and made it.
But one night when there was nothing else interesting to do, I did a search on my name and came up with another Douglas Fairchild in Vermont. I asked him what he knew of his ancestors, and he replied that the only thing he knew was that his Great Grandfather had owned a mountain of talc on Lake Erie.
So your high school friend may have been a distant relative. Ask him the question sometime. :-)
Anyway, thanks for the instructions. Unfortunately, either there is a bug in my copy of Zen Cart or I didn't completely understand, because I think I did what you said, and now I have three stuck radio buttons instead of two.

If that doesn't get you there, go to http://www.subaruspecialists.com and navigate to the STI 2008-09 page and look at it.
Any further instructions, or am I just too dumb to do this? I spent all day yesterday and always came up with the same thing. Checkboxes work, but are not really a fit for the selection. Radio would be nice.
TIA,
Doug
