SubCat Icon different on Cat Page

I would like to have the subcategory icons that display on the category page be different than the icon that displays at the top of the subcategory page.
I use banner size icons on all category/subcategory pages. On the category page it shows a mini-copy of that banner. I would rather display a different icon than a mini size of the banner.

Example where you see bracelets banner, i"d rather have a picture of a bracllet without changing the icon used on the bracelets subcategory

You could customize the module for category_row.php to use a different image such as for:
mycategoryimagename.jpg

use the image:
mycategoryimagename_small.jpg

Now you have the large image where you need it and the small image where you need it ...

Thanks. That definately will work. The images need to be read dynamically.. Any idea how that can be accomplished?

I imagine the name and location of the second image version would need to be stored somewhere. Then the page taught how to dynamically retrieve that data.

You would need to parse the current categories_image name and add the addition of the _small ...

You might look at the module for the main_product_image.php and how it manages the products_image and see if you can gleen some hints from it for this ...
