Adding Prices

Hi I'm having some trouble with product attributes.

My attributes are set up as follows:

Weight (kg)
250g £4.50
500g £9.00
750g £13.50
1kg £18.00
2kg £36.00

The problem I'm having is that the prices above are total prices and the base price of £4.50 is being added on when I add to the cart.

so if you select 500g £9.00 it will add on £4.50 when added to the cart and total the price at £13.50. I don't want this to happen as the price should be £9.00 in the cart.

I could display attributes like this

Weight (kg)
250g
500g +£4.50
750g +£9.00
1kg +£13.50
2kg +£18.00

and that would only add the correct amount onto the base price, however my client requires that i display the total price on the attributes.

So please can someone tell me of a way to add the attributes price without it adding onto the base price?

I don't use this feature put I believe in the Attribute
Flags:Include in Base Price When Priced by Attributes flag to off should do it for ya.

I've tried that and it doesn't appear to do anything. Just does exactly the same.

Is there any other way of stopping this from happening?
