Multiple templates?

Hi there,

Never used zenCart, just wondering if it is possible to have multiple templates. Example:

Homepage template: The homepage has a completely different layout, and different functionality.

Category/product template: A more standard shoping cart template, with your usual side boxes of categories etc.

In effect I need two entirely separate templates, with different functionality on both.

Is this easy/crazy in zen?

Depends on what you mean by 'functionality'. It's easy to style the pages differently with CSS.

I mean completely different functionality, outside the realms of simply hiding/showing boxes.

Example: homepage has a more advanced search form, it is a 2 column layout heavy on imagery. There are 4-5 "ads" that can be fed through to populate a certain area.

Subpage is a more standard page, with the categories etc on the sides?
