Main category as a product page: can it be done?

I’m in the middle of creating one more main category. There will be only one product in it. Is there any way to make it like a product listing: for example, a visitor clicks that new main category (will be custom work) and directly go to custom button product page rather than showing one custom button product in the main category.

Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Skip 1-prod categories.
