css problem Layout issue with my first Zen Cart website....

    Hello everyone,

I have been working on my first zen-cart website for a while now and it's almost finished, however, there are a few issues that I can't figure out the solutions to that I need help with before I can launch my site, so any input would be greatly appreciated :)

First of all, the URL for my website is www. g n r w o r l d . com / s t o r e (sorry, I just don't want the link to be picked up by a search engine yet). I am running version 1.3.8 from a clean install. I have installed a template and this newsletter add-on: http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=106 but for some reason when I go to the newsletter page (the link is in the header) the right side boxes get pushed almost all the way to the end. Secondly, the heading of the page (Newsletter Subscription) does not change to orange and capital letters like all the other headings on the website (with the exception of the heading on the "write a review" page which has the same issue).

Now, I am very new to css and I'm assuming that I have to add some code to stylesheet.css in order to fix this issue, so if anybody could point me in the right direction that would be very much appreciated! I actually have about 5 other issues with the website that I need to fix, but I guess I'll take it one step at a time :)

The best advice you'll get here is to switch from that 'free' Template Monster template. TM hard-codes a lot of stuff into their templates which make adding mods difficult and styling them impossible.

You can use the Web developer plug-in for the Firefox browser to see what TM did with the styling of the other headers and try to apply it to the code that came with the mod.

    Lots of sample templates here:

Thanks for the suggestion Steve, but unfortunately it is a bit too late to change templates now as the website is almost finished and I have designed everything around my current template. By the way, I did not get this template from Template Monster, so hopefully it won't be too hard to find a solution to the few issues that I have left.

Anyway, so let's assume that the issue with the Newsletter heading happened with a "regular" template.... how would you go about to fixing the issue? Any suggestions are much appreciated :) Again, my website is: www.g n r w o r l d. com / s t o r e

While you may not have gotten the template from TM - it IS a TM template - #12541 - Fixing whatever problem you're having is the template designer's fault.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Wow, I wasn't aware that this template sold for 180 bucks as I found it somewhere online for free (the only bad thing with that being that I can't go back to Template Monster to help me with my problem ). So just out of curiosity, has anybody else experienced any layout/css issues with the Newsletter Subscribe add-on or is my issue for sure 100% template related?

On a second note, I have downloaded the Web Developer plug-in for Firefox in order to try to figure out my css problem, but I am really lost ANY suggestions regarding of how I should approach this problem are EXTREMELY welcomed....
