Need logo image to be bigger?

I'm using v. 1.3.8, and right now with the template I bought, the logo in the upper left hand corner is only about 227 x 82 px. And, the EZ Pages, Privacy Notice, Shared, and Zen Cart links are right beside it. I would like the logo text to span all the way across it, with the links that are by it now, tranferred up to the very top of the page next to the Home and Log In section.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I understand, and typically I don't buy templates to start with either. I take the time to download and then customize them. The difference is, we are on a time crunch here, and I need to spend the majority of my time programming and setting up the content. I will still have to do a fair amount of modifying, but not as much. I do know how to edit PHP, write XHTML/CSS, and am learning the navigation system for zen cart, but there's definately a learning curve to this. I spent probably 50 hours learning to customize my first Wordpress site, now it takes me a few hours and that's it. I'm hoping that as I gain experience in Zen Cart it will be the same way. (I'm sure it will take longer than Wordpress, but you get what I mean.)

The cool thing is... after I'm done with this project, I may try to introduce Zen Cart into our community education program where I teach at, for other people to learn to use.

Allow us to assist you by turning you on to two invaluable tools.

Firebug (used with firefox) will find the css call for anything and everything on your site. A definite get and get used to item.

Also, the Developers' Tool Kit in the admin under Tools. Great search to find which file contains "inside-logo". That's where you'll need to change the image.

You're going to have to fix some errors before you can get a good handle on this. Specifically in the navEZPagesTop. The <ul> not having a class or id is okay, but the <li>s have a class for the first and no others. Firefox should show you the padding call around line 74 in the stylesheet_tm.css that will move the navEZPagesTop more to the right.

It would never have been possible to even GUESS about these things without a link. And Template Monster could look just the same using Zen Cart's overrides, but they're in too big a hurry to make money.

Make one of your "class projects" a challenge to match the TM with the css and without hard-coding.
