Add Image to Main Page via Admin Panel

I am trying to add images to my main page/ front page.
The tools/ define pages editor in the Admin panel is great for adding text, but...
I want to have two images in the main space of my main page. Please help, I put the image in the languages/ english/ html_includes folder, which also includes the define_main_page.php file.
I'm sure that I am missing something, but please give me some step-by-step to get my images up.

The embedded program that allows you to put TEXT and IMAGES into your main page is called HTMLArea.

(It's the SAME program being used here on the forum, allowing me to type in my response to you.)

This text and image information is actually HTML code, and you can see the underlying code by clicking the "toggle" icon on the menu bar. It looks like this <>.

Now... to put in images, you can either:

1. Use the INSERT IMAGE icon (little yellow square with mountains).
2. Toggle to HTML mode and insert the code yourself... <img src="your_image_source_path">.

Some people (me included) use external HTML editors such as Dreamweaver to construct the code, then use COPY and PASTE to bring it into our zencart defined pages, using the <> toggle.
