Template installing

This is my first post because I joined today. I have installed Zen Cart 1.3.8a version on my PC and run under localhost and did not installed the demo database. I want to change the default template and downloaded a new template. But do not know how to add it? Can anybody help???????????

Thanks and I found the Tutorial and it works!.
But now I change the default currancy to Japanese Yens.
I did not installed the demo data. So starting from zero. When I input the value of an item to 5000, it show as JY0. What is wrong?

In your shop ADMIN, you can install NEW currencies.

Thanks for all the help. Now I reisntalled the zencart and it works with Japanese currency.
