Default Css not loading on wamp2 server

    Hi all ,

I copy the css from template_default and paste it in my own template123 folder ( ../templates/template123/css ) . Making changes in the css has no effect in showing . Working with firefox/firebug to make alterations .

I'm working my ZC 1.3.8 as local with wamp2 server .

Any idea where i can find answers , cause i know it must have already been in the forum . I tried naming ../htacces into htacces_off , but it is asking me for a filename to take effect (??) .

    Any idea ??

    C'mon all ,

My css is good , cause i've checked it out with the webdevelopment download from another thread where u can view and add your own css to show off how your css will show on "live' feature .
And it looks good though .

    Give some idea please , cause i don't want to move to Drupal/Ubercart . I love the ZC-forum , very massive !!

Wampserver don't give error log as mentioned in the faq/tutorial .

Hee moderators , come on !
    Don't let me switch to Drupal/Ubercart .

    Thanks on beforehand .

So, what happens when you put it on a real webserver?

altering your CSS using firebug extension is temporary . you need to apply those changes directly to your stylesheet.css ..

In search for a best cart ( whole week 'reading' all the pros and cons with google ) i've made up that ZC is the best . Supporting wiki , tutorial and the massive forum !

    1-downloaded version 1.3.8
    2-creating db (phpmyadm)
    3-setting permissions
    4-installing with wamp
    5-deleting zc-install
    6-configure permission both configure.php
    7-create CUSTOM template123 in ../templates/template123
8-copy css from template_default to paste in template123
9-in admin/tools set up template123 as default template

To tony_sar : open up browser /localhost/ my template123 is showing . To see what alterations i can do to make my css show as what i want , i use firebug and then change my template123/css according to it . Opening up browser /localhost/ the changes are not loading and in template123/css the changes i've made are still in there ! Only they not load accordingly .

To Dr.Byte : no , i did not try it at a 'live' feed . Mainly i did not put nothing in ZC at all , because first the frame works then the products . Here is it now : switch template to the CLASSIC template as default and also the changes made to ../classic/css do not load when opening up the browser /localhost/ .

And no , i am not frustrated . I live in Suriname (north South America ) , very tropical and we take life here as it is

I'm now spitting and digging wampserver2.0 in and out to see if the css-thing can be of their part .

    Thanks all for reply .

If you've changed something in the .css file but your browser is not reflecting those changes, perhaps your browser has cached the file? Try emptying your browser cache.

As i mentioned earlier i had chosen ZC for their wiki , tutorial and massive forum !

The problem is solved ; it was the cache that caused it .

The massive forum at their best !!
Many thanks for helping me find the solution !!
