    Default remove sample database

Hi. I'm new to ZenCart ---

How do I remove the sample database?? I have a good understanding of the system now and want to start entering my own products and categories.

Do I need to start over by running the install program???

    Thanks in advance...

It's not a separate database, so the easiest way is to delete the sample categories from Admin, unless you're a lot more familiar with MySql than I am.

The *cleanest* and fastest way is to do a quick re-install of the database by running the /zc_install/index.php with your browser.

Merely deleting the sample categories and their contained products is a close second, and is acceptable in many cases. You may want to clean up the demo option names and option values as well.

Is this also a good way to remove all products installed including those I have made myself as a test?

What I described above will wipe out everything in your Zen Cart database: customers, orders, products, categories, attributes, all configuration settings ... everything.

DrByte can you give some more directions what exactly means "quick re-install of the database by running the /zc_install/index.php with your browser." I will appreciate you.
