Manufacturers Sidebox display / layout

Hi...

super simple question.

the Manufacturers Sidebox shows the Manufacturers in a list of three. Is there setting via the admin section that would allow me to show 7 or 10 manufacturers in the scrolling menu?

if not, is this a code hack... override solution?.. if so can someone point me in the right direction of the file and code i have to amend?

BTW.. i love your site, is that a hand made css template?... its great. Loving the left side menu system, is that custom made or a add-on?
