Table Rate Module - Table Method "item"

I've installed the Table Rate module to calculate shipping costs per item and it work perfectly in Zen Cart 1.3.8a EXCEPT when someone orders multiple quantities of an individual item.

If for example 6 different items are ordered the Table correctly calculates shipping for 6 items, However if 6 of the same item are ordered the Table only calculates for 1 item purchased, not 6...

What am I doing wrong? Help please...

Any use to you? As mentioned it works perfectly for 6 different items but not if 6 quantity of the same item is ordered.

Let's clarify what you want vs what you have setup ...

6 quantity of 1 item will be a total shipping of $1.00 ...

6 items will be a total shipping of $1.00 ...

How much do you think the shipping should be?

Have you an URL where we could perhaps peek at this problem?

The Shipping Table rate now calculates correctly - but don't ask me what I did... I just deleted all the modules and started from scratch and this time it worked

Sometimes it just takes resetting things and it will fix the problem ...
