Default New Build - Pretty Slow

    Hi All,

Just a quick question about speed...I think I am pretty well optimized have followed the instructions and using gzip as well...
Yet with Image handler the site sometimes takes 20-30 seconds, I just turned it off momentarily and dropped to under one second for loading..

Is this the Image Handler or the Server....I am running parse times for any one that cares to comment ....it would be much appreciated.

I think that everyone should install this tool and have a look at their results, I bet there would be a lot of correctable issues. I will have to check into "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" as well as "Leverage browser caching".

Relating to the original poster's comment about IH2 slowing things down, it seems as if the IH2 images are not being cached by the browser. I don't know if this is the browser or the IH/ZC script. Does anyone know?
