UPS Shipping Module Question

I've got a zencart setup to use only UPS for shipping. I've got weights for my products set. When I look at my shopping cart it says:

Total Items: 1 Weight: 1lbs

But when I proceed to check out and I get to Step 1 of 3 - Delivery Information, I see all of the choices for shipping. But it seems to take my weight and multiply it by 4. This is what it says:

Shipping Method:
This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order.
United Parcel Service (1 x 4.00lbs)

Anyone know where this 4lbs comes from? The weight for this product is only 1lbs. I've also checked that I'm only ordering 1 not 4.

Any suggestions? Is this a configuration setting that I'm over looking?

Has this question been answered before? I searched but found nothing. So if someone knows where I should be looking, help me out please. It would be much appreciated.

I think I figured it out. I just set the "Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight" to 0:0 in the configuration -> shipping/packaging. I tried it earler but for some reason the changes didn't take effect. I changed it to something else then back to 0:0 and tried again and it worked.

Thanks for the update that the Tare Rate was adding 3lbs to your shipping weight ...
