Significant Issue Moving root - followed instructions

Hello

I have moved the root of my ZC from /catalog to / and I followed an checked the instructions https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=122

I have also ran the fix cache key file and it says

Read DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE from configure.php: xxxxxx

Found SESSION_WRITE_DIRECTORY in database: xxxxxxxx

No changes required.
Exiting.

(XXXX represents correct path)

The basic catalog works fine but anything that tracks sessions seems to be broken i.e. can't add item to cart

Also when I login to Admin pane I get error

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at c:\LocalUser\xxxxxxxxx\public_html\admin\includes\configure.php:1) in c:\LocalUser\xxxxxxx\public_html\includes\functions\sessions.php on line 108

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at c:\LocalUser\xxxxxxx\public_html\admin\includes\configure.php:1) in c:\LocalUser\xxxxxxx\public_html\admin\includes\init_includes\init_templates.php on line 36

I have checked both configure.php files at the seem to be ok and don't have any blanks etc at start

Any advise appreciated ASAP
thank you
Noel

Re: Significant Issue Moving root - followed instructions

Hello

Is there anybody that might be able to offer advice on this issue as site is down 24 hours at this stage. Is there somewhere else I need to post this request.

Thank you for any help

// The next 2 "defines" are for SQL cache support.
// For SQL_CACHE_METHOD, you can select from: none, database, or file
// If you choose "file", then you need to set the DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE to a directory where your apache
// or webserver user has write privileges (chmod 666 or 777). We recommend using the "cache" folder inside the Zen Cart folder
// ie: /path/to/your/webspace/public_html/zen/cache -- leave no trailing slash
define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'none');
define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE', 'c:/LocalUser/coolmain-sailing/public_html/cache');

// EOF
?>

I added the ?> above to close the php statement but with it or without it I still get the same error

The XXXX in the d/b access code were added prior to post for my security

Re: Significant Issue Moving root - followed instructions

Check your file again in:
/admin/includes/configure.php

with a good text editor on your computer to edit this file and make sure that there are no space(s) or blank line(s) before the beginning php bracket <?php or after the closing php bracket ?>

NOTE: do NOT use your Control Panel to edit this ...

Rename the current file on the server to:
configure.php_BROKEN

and reload the new file via FTP to your server ...

NOTE: your shop also has goofy characters showing that you may be able to search for in the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... of your Admin, once that is working ...
