Our client getting issue with the session in the store, but this happen on SSL page only.
First we tested on admin using secure login, when we enter admin panel, clicking on any link will logged us out.
Then we tested on the front page, adding items to cart, the proceed to checkout, arrive in login page, put the login, then booted to homepage, tried to go again to login page and 'Whoops session expired' message appear. And the items in the cart become 0.
Then we disabled SSL, all session problem gone!
We tried to do all steps discussed in here http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91842
- Setting Force Cookie Use -> False
- Recreate Session -> False
- Clearing session, db_cache, sessions, whos_online tables
- Tried file based and db based session
Also contacting the host, and they said session and SSL works just fine, they even uploaded test script https://melodymusiconline.com/test.php
The result still the same, problem still there.
Currently we have to disable SSL in the front page and admin.
About the store:
- v1.3.8
- all standard payment modules, except Google Checkout
- Single root SSL (geotrust)
Anyone can help us in this, why the session expired issue only affecting SSL pages?
I assume this has something to do with SSL configuration in the host, but the host said all are good.
Really appreciate all helps
Donny
