Is there a way to have the top level categories links dropdown the sub categories list but not change the page.

I see where you can have it display either the subcategories on the page or just the Top Level Cats description.

But so it does not change the page.

Example: So if you were on the main page/home page and clicked the first category, it would dropdown the subcats, but the viewable page would still be the home page.
