Getting Two Search Headers - How To Fix?

I created a new style for the header search box because it did position well with my custom header:

New:

<div class="navSearchHeader forward_searchbox">

I see that the problem search box uses div id "ColumnTwoWrapper" which was different from the first search box - which I did not see.

column_right.php references this div id - but do not see any reference to the search_header.

This problem is probably right in front of me but I can't see it!

If you just want to get rid of it, try adding to your stylesheet:

#navColumnTwoWrapper form {display:none;}

This will probably eliminate any other forms you might want in that column, but ...

Also, be advised that Zencart will load all stylesheets with the .css extension in the current template's CSS folder. You have three files named stylesheet.css, which may fight one another.

I guess time will tell if there will be any problems with this solution.

In terms of the other two stylesheets, they were there upon install (godaddy) - and it seems at least one of them is called on often (stylesheet_css_boxes.css).

Hi,
searching for the same issue I found a complete solution here http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...+header+column.
This solve the problem and do not break the CSS.

For reference:
Admin: Tools : Layout Boxes Controller:
sideboxes/search_header.php
Left/Right column status: off
Column: right
Left/Right sort order: 0
Single column sort order: 0
Single column status: on
