    help question Secure Server?

My hosting site offers a Shared SSL. So I used this information in my configure.php files. Now, when I go to my site, it says that the page contains some insecure elements. (Instead of having the little lock symbol, it has a triangle with an exclamation point) I'm very new to this and don't know what I should try next. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using version 1.3.0.2 of Zen Cart. It is installed on a Linux Server. My site is https://talk2mejjv.fatcow.com/onlinestore/

Question - Why are you using such an old version of Zen Cart?
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

It's just what FatCow offered for the direct download and I've been working on it for a long time. How long is the upgrade process? Does it change your settings etc.?

I'm doing a fake order and when it sends me to Paypal I get this message:

"The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details."

I know how to change that option in paypal to accept un-encrypted payments, but how do I make the website payments encrypted? I'm new to this whole process and I'm just trying to learn the basics.

    I am seeing:

    Code:
    https://talk2mejjv.fatcow.com//onlinestore/index.php?main_page=login
The double slash //onlinestore suggests incorrect setting in configure.php .

Do not waste your time with 1.3.0.2. You need 1.3.8a .

Additionally, I'd question the logic of hosting in a sub-domain. Why not get your own domain?

Well, I have my website http://www.justintimemoments.com and then I have my online shop which is listed above. It is listed as talk2mejjv.fatcow.com because that is the Shared SSL. Is that a problem?

My own personal view is that e-commerce is not a mess-about business. I take it seriously - and for me that means:-

    1. A host that knows what they are doing.
    2. A separate domain.
    3. Dedicated IP address, and personal SSL certificate.

Customers like to see that you are doing things properly - at least that's my experience anyway.

If your host is supplying you with version 1.3.0.2, then they clearly have no interest in zencart, or helping you configure everything properly.
