How is it about compability between 1.3.7 and 1.3.8a when it comes to install an addon? Should it work fine or is it not suggested?

I am also looking for a sidebox news scroller (for v1.3.8a). Anyone knows about one?

Have not used that mod, but you can check it on a test site or search for it's support thread
