Default UPS shipping-ONE category needs a different "ship from" zip

Zen 1.38 - I know how to configure ONE UPS module based on store owner's zip (he has a UPS account based on his zip) - one of his categories is shipped from a DIFFERENT zip - How do I even go about doing this? Does he have to open ANOTHER UPS account? or can I assign another UPS module to THAT certain category based on the 2nd zipcode? Please help, and detailed step by step would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

I have a similar issue, I need to ship from the california for all points west of the mississipi and from Pennsylvania for all points east. Is there a way to set up a different zip for each?

Anyone? There's gotta be a way to duplicated the UPS mod and send THAT one from a different zip (not the store's zip) help?

It could be done by state ... where you build two different Zones and then clone the UPS shipping module for which one gets used ...

Cloning the UPS shipping module can be a bit complicated but it can be done ...

I would have to write the customized code to explain everything as this is a time consuming job on this one ...

If is similar to the cloning of flat and item except you have to take into account the use of ups in other code, settings etc. that should not be touched ...
