    Default Shipping modules + zones problem

    Hi,

    I've a really frustrating problem.

    I've configure correctly one zone (green circle in TABLE_HEADING_STATUS)(zone + taxes are ok).

    I go to shipping modules and set one of them, for example Store Pickup, well, if i don't set zone for this module, the status is OK (green circle) but when i set the zone that i have correctly configured, the circle turns yellow and the customer doesn't see this shipping way.

    It happens with all the other shipping modules (when i set a zone for the module, the circle of the module turn yellow and doesn't work). If i set no shipping zone, the module turns green again.

    I don't know what's the problem (i think is a zone problem but i don't know how to fix it, the zones looks set properly)

    Some help please.

    (Sorry, my english is not as well as i would like)

    Green is an indicator that all is setup correctly ...

    Yellow is an indicator that while things are setup correctly, you have enabled a "filter" or Zone so that it will only show for "some" customers ...

    If you have the Zone set on a module and it is not showing for an address in that Zone ... then check that you actually defined the Zone and didn't just make a Zone Name with no definitions ...

    What module is not working and what are your Zone Settings?

    I've set 3 zones for Spain (Cantabria, Canarias and Peninsula) the zones are set ok (for example):

    Cantabria->
    • Details-->Country: Spain, Zone Cantabria)

    • Tax Rates-->1 I.V.A. 16% Cantabria 16%


    Then i go to shipping modules and configure for example the table rate. If i don't set any zone for that module the circle keep green, if i set Shipping Zone: Cantabria, the circle turn yellow and customers from Cantabria show the mesage below:

    "Not Available At This Time
    Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
    Please contact us for alternate arrangements."

    This happens with all the shipping modules and all the zones i have set.

    I'm really confused. I will try to install a backup i've done several weeks ago (some weeks ago the shipping worked ok). Another option i've think about is to reinstall zen-cart from the beggining and reload my data base, it is posible?

    On the shipping module, what are your exact settings ... you can also get this if your configuration has a typo ...

    REALLY IMPORTANT: i have realice that it beggan to fail after an order from one of the zones (before it worked ok, i had test it a lot), this order was the first order totally automatically (i have been working by email with all the other customers).

    shipping/packaging setting: (sorry it's in spanish)

    Nothing is jumping out at me to explain the problem based on what you are telling me ...

    If you could PM me the url and login to your Zen Cart Admin, I can take a look at things and see if anything shows up that might be causing this ... when I get some free time ...

    If I am using an address for Cantabria, Spain then I see shipping methods ...

    If I am using an address from anywhere else, I will see:
    Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
    Please contact us for alternate arrangements.
    This is because you have set the Zones to limit who you ship to on both of your shipping modules ...

    If you want to be able to ship to places besides: Cantabria, Spain then you will need to either remove the Zones from your shipping modules or add the places that you want to be able to ship to into a Zone ...

    NOTE: on the sort order for your Modules, if you are going to add a sort order to 1 of the modules, you really need to add it to all of the modules ... I prefer to number in 10s such as 10, 20, 30 ...
